This handy utility will help keep your PC running smoothly, recovering valuable RAM that otherwise remains out of reach.

RAM Idle can be used in two ways. For the PC novice/general user it comes with various recommended settings; select these and the program takes care of things for you.

For the more advanced user there is a great deal that can be manually defined, including target free RAM, minimum free RAM and name and directory cache size.

Getting the settings right is crucial; free too much RAM and your PC will slow down, free too little and it's pointless. Use the recommended settings and you are sure to notice a performance improvement.

A taskbar icon lets you quickly clear the clipboard, free up varying levels of RAM and shutdown or restart the PC.
